then you download the stand alone patch with is here

and you install that in the same place, and we should be ready to play.
then how to play on garena
Audio

after you patch the game your audio is probably broke, so to fix it all you do is go to options, the keyboard/ mouse and then enable allow devolper console and then you press the button under escape next to the 1 key and then you type "snd_rebuildaudiocache" and click enter it should take about ten minutes and if it seems like it is stuck on about 99% just quit it, it should still work.

You can host you own map by entering the following commands in Console. On how To host your Own Server.

1: Open console. Type in console map l4d_ and a list of map will come up. So let's go with No Mercy Map.

Example: map l4d_hospital01_apartment
But you would also want to choose a game type mode and a difficulty level.
Such as mp_gamemode coop, survival and versus
And the difficulty level for your game
z_difficulty easy, normal, hard, and impossible

"hard and impossible are as Advanced And Expert"
and then you give your server a name
hostname "YourServerName"

Then you can do these following commands in the Console. "hostname "MyServer"; mp_gamemode coop; map l4d_hospital01_apartment; z_difficulty normal"

And press the Submit Button.
