Barbarian Peasants are tougher than some peasants from other factions, they have a combat bonus in woods or snow, but that will not change the outcome of the Barbarian Peasants being easy meat. Best used as cannon fodder.

A big downside to this unit is it’s short range. However, the damage dealt from this weapon is devastating, and effects the enemy’s morale pretty good too, can really help turn the tide of a battle. Very vulnerable to missile fire. If this unit is going to be used in melee, charge into an enemy’s flank that is on the verge of routing, its charge is good too, fights better in woods or snow. Warcry improves attack.

Cavalry

Very good value for money at low money. Good all round chariots. Good at wearing down enemy with missile fire, plus can form cantabrian circle. Can double as a good melee chariot to deliver the decisive blow, very effective when charging in flanks. More effective in snow.

British Heavy Chariots

Powerful Chariots. Good at causing gaps in enemy lines, especially in flank, more effective in snow.

Very good at chasing down routers and archers, effective at making enemies rout when morale is low.

Basic Strategy
Use British Light Chariots to wear down enemy, and Head Hurlers if you get the chance, if defending be sure to place ambushes and fight in woods for added bonuses, use heavy infantry to hold the lines and chariots to cut the enemy to shreds.
