Well its not that bad as you think, im not a snob or wathever...
Where I bought it its just €30, and I can use it as a normal headphone because the mic is retractable.
Besides, my old one was about 20 years old, and Im just 14!
and I don't want to end up whit a headset like Killy, boy does that thing sux

The predator is not obsolete as it has i7 and more than any gamer will need
i7 is still way out at the moment and not yet needed for 98% of the games...
