The City of Haven, generally speaking, shops are rural and the prices have normalized.

Urug makes his way with his few (52 GP) gold pieces in the hope for a new weapon or something worth taking along on his adventure.  

Seeing the armoury he walks over and inside to see a few items hanging on display... the armourer still busy banging away doesn't notice Urug standing there.  Just staring.  Hanging from the rafter a weapon so well crafted, it brings a smile to his face on what and whom he could hit with it.

"You there, blacksmith! How much for that Maul over there?"

Armourer:
"I'm not a blacksmith, I'm an armourer!" The armourer turns to face the shouting orc.

"You caught me by surprise though, I don't get many customers at this time of day! I thought I would dabble with smithing some weapons."

Looking at the maul, this sweaty armourer tilts his head back and forth in deep concentration. His intense silence and body language give off the impression that a great deal of importance has already been assigned to this maul. An expression of pain flashes over his face for just a brief moment, only to be covered up by a forced smile.

"This is my first maul, and I suppose, if after quenching it holds... I could let it go for 9 gold pieces... 10 if you want me to try and personalize it a tad for you."

"Smithy, 11 gold pieces if you can make it sing,..." mumbling under his breath "or to stop a mage"  
 Urug looks at the armourer, hoping for some good news

"Sorry my hearing isn't what it used to be, working this forge has made me a little deaf. This is my first attempt at creatinga maul, So I can try to make it sing, but I can't guarantee it. If I try though, I want the money up front, because this maul seems to be in fine order now."

If you want to try and have the maul sing in the air as you swing it around, pay the shop keeper 11 gold, and roll a d20. 11 and up, you get the property.

Urug tosses 11 gold pieces to the shopkeeper.  I will return later.  You can reach me at the Prancing Pony Inn.

God damn these people, waking up before noon. The outrage! I need my sleep. 

Now we're walking around this little Haven place to see if we can buy some supplies we might need. Well I did need to buy somethings for my boat since the group had mentioned earlier that sailing might be faster than walking depending which way we went.

I see Urug is already rushing to the get himself a new weapon. Not having the patience to go to different stores I walk up to a place with the words "Al's General Store - For all your adventuring needs" painted boldly in red on an old banner. "All your adventuring needs huh? We shall see about that" I mumble to myself as I walk in with a scowl on my face.

I already know what I want so I walk up to the old wooden counter where I see the shop keeper bent over some parchment. "You there shop keeper. Can you jot down what I want? It might be a long list..." I say to him as I peer around his queer little shop, crowded to the brim with a little bit of everything. He looks up from the parchment....

"Bugger off" He replies, going straight back to the parchment. "Just bring what you want to the counter and we can talk."

This human has a few blemishes over his skin, looks to be no older than 19 years of age...

Who does this little runt think he is, I'll gut him and dance on his entrails. Not happy with his reply I bend over the counter and easily lift him up by the collar "Now look here, go get me what I want or I will cut you into so many pieces even your mother won't recognize you"

The Shopkeeper looks you up and down and returns to his parchment. 

"What ever you say!" he says in a sarcastic tone. You can't see his eyes but it kind of looks like he is rolling his eyes...

I decide to pick up the parchment. Rip it in half, then raise my trident to the little buggers neck. "Is a raunchy scroll of parchment with naked wenches really worth your life? I don't want to kill you. Just give me my damn stuff"

"Oh come now. There is a guard just out there right now. You don't have the guts. No one in this town has the guts." He keeps your gaze. "If anything happens, and one of us ends up dead, who do you think the guard is going to believe? You, the shopper, or me, the shopkeeper?"

A brief pause fills the air

"You probably haven't even killed anyone yourself, have you?" He pulls a some kind of hollow rod out from under his countertop. 

"'Cause you wouldn't even believe how many people I have killed with this thing."

A sick smile creeps over his face, he quickly licks his lips watching your every move...

I laugh in his face. "You wanna fight huh boy? Alright lets go. But if I win, I get my stuff for free. If you win, I'll give you 5gp and leave quietly. You on?"
