Icefrog let S2games make HoN using his heroes because DotA needs an outlet where its full potential can be realised.

I think its an awesome achievement to have a map or game mod being turned into its own game with its own platform. That is proof that DotA will always be around, one way or another. Just remember HoN is DotA no matter how you swing it.

dota is restricted in warcraft 3, hence the limited hero models etc
whereas hon has no limits.

WTF dota has so many more imba heroes than HoN

huskar, troll, ursa, murloc, drow, phantom lancer

etc etc

and none of those are in hon apart from drow who is sort of arachna except without a silence and the imba +45 agility ultimate

WTF? Never, DotA servers are good, just not mostly on Garena. I have a friend on S.A Bnet who hosts completely smooth games, we made the 'clan host' lol
