SimmyDOTuk - Clan videos

Hey, i thought I could make a clan video to advertise the Rome Total War section of us. Might be a good way to get new players and bulster our rooster. What you think? Whatever I make wont be crap too, I know how to use the movie cam pretty well. Any suggestions or feedback i will take on board.

Can you make it from any saved replay?

I think there might be one or two coming up that might be worthwhile...

Yes I can make movies out of any saved replays. I make the footage then record with fraps

I would say that the lower number of units involved in battles, the smoother the video will be. In my videos, I tended to have just a couple of units, to be sure the video is ultra smooth with no lag, however i'm sure afew hundred soldiers would be ok.

You could have players vs players.
Or I could set up some cool footage myself and put on a logo or something.

Certain tricks you use like having maxing the attack upgrades on soldiers and using little armour ensures the action is exciting.

Well I am certain you can do a video for more than just rome.

We also play DotA and there I am sure you can make some great videos as its a hero game and you can really get some decent footage of ganking and decent farming...

Give it a try and trust me, Dota has a much bigger following than Rome.

Well I am going to start work on my Rome Total War video. I need you guys to tell me if there is anything in particular that you want included. Obviously I am going to put in the clan name...is there anything else you want me to include.

I have chosen an epic song, that fits the game and era very well. And it's not the Rambo theme tune that we talked about killa lol:P I am going to start work tonight hopefully it should be finished soon:)
